About Heidi:

I was born and raised in a rural Wisconsin town. I’m 24, full of spunk, and ready for anything life throws my way! I’ve had a lot of adventures, but none of them compare to the joy I experience every day in my career, attempting to capture the wonder and ridiculousness that is life. I am easily amused and laugh a lot. I have tons of quirks and I’m certain you’ve never met anyone like me. I probably take too many pictures of my cat and I engage in more therapeutic shopping than I should admit! I’m over-the-top in more than one way. I strive for the best in everything I do, and I never want to stop learning or growing.

I love photography more than words can explain and I am the luckiest girl in the world to call this my career! I find that the more I shoot, the more I realize how important my relationship is with my clients! I love meeting new people and hearing their stories…my clients mean so much to me! There is just something so special in knowing that the images I capture will be passed down from generation to generation, full of love and emotion- nothing can beat that. I didn’t find photography. Photography found me.

About Emily:

I have lived in many different places over the course of my life. From a quaint, scenic town in Minnesota, to the majestic mountains of Washington State, to a small organic farm in the beautiful rolling countryside of Wisconsin, and now the lovely city of Milwaukee. I have grown to possess a deep love for my surroundings. I draw inspiration from what I see around me. I’ve been fortunate to travel around the country and the world. Everywhere I go I see beauty all around and I love to capture what I see.

My wonderful family is another inspiration to me, my husband and two daughters, Elena and Isabel. My family has taught me the importance of moments. The intimate details that grow and change in relationships. A smile, a laugh, a kiss, an embrace. A collection of these moments, big and small, make up our memories.

When I combine these three things, my curiosity and willingness to explore new surroundings, my knowledge and experience of life’s most precious moments, and my love and passion for photography, I can truly capture a moment. Not only as a photograph, but as something that will evoke the senses to bring you back to that very moment. It is my pleasure and privilege to capture these moments and make them last forever.
